About Gimme Indie

Gimme Indie is a web radio airing alternative sounds 24/7 focusing on independently released (or unsigned) artists mainly from Scandinavia, UK and North America. The station was founded in June, 2008 and since January 2010 we're also live streaming club gigs and festivals around the country and abroad. It's a non-profit initiative by pop- and online enthusiast Tommy Ericsson. The radio is being scheduled by RCS GSelector® and uses the same kind of structure as traditional radio stations. Different playlists air more or less frequently (adds are always on highest rotation to front new music first). Two filler categories air older songs on a lower rotation. 	Benoît Derrier podcast editor Benoît has served as a journalist for established radio channels such as Radio France Internationale or Radio Suisse Romande. He is an educated sound engineer and radio producer. Being French, he speaks in an elusive accent and spends unreasonable amounts of time attempting to fish frogs.		Love Nyberg webhosting/sys-admin In love with homemade food and bittersweet American folk music.
